iPhone – Genius
I know this has already been posted, but on the way to work this morning, I discovered that Genius is now on my iphone! Amazing! While listening to a shuffle of all songs on the iphone, I discovered a genius button that there and then generated a playlist based on the current song! Genius!!!
Chrome Facebook Bug
Well, I've been using Chrome as my primary browser for a week or so now (yes, I like to go the whole hog and dive right into things) and have only just come up against my first actual issue with the application, other than it occasionally crashes when I have too many of it's apparent "independent" tabs open. (more on that) I will call it, the Chrome Facebook Bug, for lack of anything more original: I tried to tag someone in a facebook album, and nothing happens, no "Done Tagging" box, nothing, and if you try and click on the photo to tag the person, it simply pushes you onto the next photo. Anyways, I thought I'd share my error report with you all :) 
PS. Seeing as we're all talking about Chrome, I've made a Chrome category in which you can put all your posts... I don't know why I gave up on SEO-ing this blog... perhaps, because it became too obsessive and not any fun any more :P
iTunes 8 – Genius
I downloaded iTunes 8 last night in order to try out Genius. It sounds like Pandora but without licencing issues.. Great! Not sure about the privacy policy, but that's for another day.
However in order to even turn on Genius you have to sign into your iTunes account, which isn't such a big issue, but then it appears that you have to provide credit card details too.. It seems I'm not going to try it after all. There's no way I'm giving my credit card details unless I am actually buying something. Unfortunately for apple it seems they've got it backwards. Without being able to use Genius it's unlikely I'll ever buy anything from iTunes.
Nevermind. As the only music discovery site I am aware of that works in not-USA, I quite like the61. Suggestions welcome for any others!
Look into my eyes…
After many years of wondering, I finally booked myself on a hypnosis course and completed it at the weekend. I am now a hypnotist and will be hypnotising people on the streets as soon as I've got a routine or two to use.
The course was excellent with 2 existing hypnotherapists who wanted to learn the fast induction style (handshake induction as seen on tv) as well as 3 others, like myself, who have never hypnotised before. A highly practical course and by lunchtime on the first day, we were practicing techniques on eachother and getting hypnotic phenomena like arm lifting!
Thoroughly recommended and I can't wait to find my first subject.

More Google Chrome Musings
In this interview, the Mozilla Europe president states that he doesn't think Google Chrome is competing with Firefox, rather it is competing with Internet Explorer, citing reasons of competing on search/advertising etc.
Just one question: Why do most Internet Explorer users use Internet Explorer? I'm tempted to set up a web survey, but I'm fairly sure the most popular reason will be "there's an alternative? (confused look)". Agree or no?
OK, so having established that, now I'd like to compare the demographic who will install, try and then continue to use Google Chrome with the demographic who know there are possible alternatives to IE and so use Firefox. Once again I'll forego the web survey, but I think you'll see a similarity in those two groups nonetheless.
Soooo. Taking these things into account, which browser do you think will lose more users to Chrome? At this point Firefox's main defence is it's massive and massively useful library of addons (even if Chrome comes complete with a cut-down replacement for my favourite FF addon, Firebug), but if Google adds a plugin capacity to Chrome, all bets are off.
